dna paternity test canada

How much child support can I get for my 1 yr old?

The father of my one year old denies that she is his daughter. He moved to canada and got married, I live in the U.S. How do I get a paternity test to make him pay child support? He refuses to take a DNA test. Also, if he does pay child support – how much would it be? Would that could as my earned income if I apply to other state programs to help?

Here in TX. you would get 20% of his income, for one child,
and the court will enforce a dna paternity test and if it is his, he will have to pay for the dna test,if he does not pay court ordered c/s,
his credit gets messed up,cannot get a passport, lien on property, garnishing bank accounts, and finally jail time.Don’t mess with c/s in TX.
It does vary from state to state though, and being your ex is now in canada, you probably will have ALOT of trouble getting him to pay up.If he doesn’t pay and he ever moves back to the U.S, he will owe a huge amount of back pay, and you will get his income tax refund when he files. You can claim child support as another source of income when applying for credit cards, state programs.
I pay c/s, that’s how come I have some much info. :)
and another piece of info, please, please, make sure you know 100% child is his,you don’t want to enforce a dna test and be humiliated.
