Amniocentesis / prenatal paternity test?
Hi, I am now 23 weeks pregnant, and I live in Canada. I wonder if it can be amniocentesis to determine the paternity of my unborn baby. I understand that the test usually is done by high-risk pregnancies and medical expenses are covered by the time. I am willing to pay any price for an amniocentesis. I wonder if the OB / GYN in Canada are willing to perform the procedure for paternity testing?
I doubt it, because it is a risky procedure. might actually lose the baby. is best to wait until the baby is born and is a buccal swab.
