paternity test results sample

how can a person fake DNA test?

I have a friend who have a problem with paternity test, the test result came to be 100 percent match “like as if they tested his own blood and compared to his own blood as well” I don’t know how this kind of test goes but is there a way to know if the samples has been tampered?

Assuming that there was correct sample preparation and obtainment, no, it would be near-impossible to fake a DNA test.

Many tests tend to use the blood of the parties involved (as mentioned with yours), and faking this test would require that one of the parties CHANGE the blood they have in the sampling area at that moment (not something very easily done, to say in the least) or to (much more simply) tamper with the samples by mismatching the containers or by accidentally taking a sample from the same party twice.

That being said, there are abnormalities that may occur (the testers are human, too). The running Gel may not have been made correctly, the samples could have been repeated, the containers may not have been optimal, etc. But these will only result in the most minute and insignificant differences.

However, it worries me that you said that there was a 100% match. A child should NOT have a 100% match to EITHER parent (there should be so large similarities, but by no means a 100% match). This sounds a lot like poor sample obtainment (I think that the father may have been tested twice). I strongly recommend having another test being performed (by a different hospital or practicer).
