Is it bad to wait 16 years for a paternity test?
My husband is being sued for paternity of a child born there 16 years. my question is: why did the mom to wait so long. Could it be that Michigan has changed the welfare laws now require parents to be in demand. Is this fair to the child? her waiting 16 years to join his father. Was it a mistake for custody? I want everyone's opinion on this point.
It's a difficult situation for all concerned. Girls have a right to know his father and should have the opportunity to meet her. The fact that the mother waited so long is very unfair to everyone. I guess her husband is not hiding and that the mother had called the father at any time. But surely it is reasonable that he is the father until tests DNA shows.
