My husband needs a lawyer …?
My husband lives here in Orlando, Florida, and his former girlfriend who has children living in the Bronx, NY. They do everything from child support, but my husband wants to get legal help because they do not want a paternity test of her youngest daughter, but you can not leave work to fly Hence we do not know what to do. We have no money and wanted to get a free lawyer who can help us but I have no idea where to start. Can anyone help us understand how to do the things we do to get the show on the road? Can you get a lawyer here or there to be in NY?
the state where the child lives is the state with jurisdiction over the child, so it's like New York to a free lawyer, but ask around I doubt that is a free / pro-bono lawyer for a civil matter Family
