Paternity test for singles?
I was told that in the State of Colorado if an unmarried couple can not have the father's name on the certificate birth without a paternity test proving he is the father? Does anyone know if true?
Find the laws of your state or contact your local agency. Be in Ohio, an unmarried couple may name their children whatever they want, but the only way they can have the AC to say the names of the parents is that if signature. As the mother can not be like "John Doe" My father was the son and put it in British Columbia, "Joe" would have to sign, saying he agreed the baby is his, which means that it agrees to be fully responsible for the child and never taken the court in support of children, it is automatically "father" the signing of British Columbia. Good luck!
