Forensic Science question?
Paternity testing is performed involving a woman with blood type AB, which charged a man with blood type B of parenting your child to give AB. What can be determined in this case? a. Man is not the father. b. The male may have taken the child. C. The male is definitely the father. d. The child can not belong to this mother. e. any of them.
Maternal and Child = AB = AB If the mother has adopted a child, the biological father should have a B (or BO, BB or AB). If the past between mother and child B, the biological father should have an A (or AO, AA or AB). Because you can not distinguish with certainty if the mother is A or B for the child, opportunities for the biological father can be one of the following: AA AB BB BO AO The only blood that could be excluded would be a man type OO. The man accused type B (or BB or BO). Therefore, it is inconclusive as to whether or not this man could be the father. Although it is possible (which certainly can not exclude because it is not as OO), a large number of Bloodtype also could be potential biological parents. The answer is "B".
