There was a time when our planet was completely dead. Today there are an abundance of life. Darwinian theory of evolution is merely an attempt to explain naturalistic evolution of life.
The statements on the basis of Darwin's theory, as expressed in "The Origin" (1859), are well known that simple organisms of several million years have gradually changed and the vast range of living organisms today, the changes produced by the action natural selection of advantageous and preferred to retain heritage features.
My background is mostly in physics, mathematics, I learned from 1982. I have a degree in physics and MS in Computer Science. Therefore, my approach to the theory of Darwin is the point of view of an interested amateur in science education. Fortunately, it is necessary to be an expert in biology or paleontology to understand what Darwin's theory says, and assess their credibility on the basis of facts and arguments.
It came as a surprise to me to discover that most of the data presented as proof of Darwin's theory, including "The Source", or is not compatible with his main thesis, namely that organizational changes very gradually over huge sequence intermediate life forms. Evidence of such sequences can exist as living descendants of intermediate life forms and / or fossils – but these tests did not exist in 1859 – and that there are currently after 150 years of research.
In Darwin's "Origin" has expressed concern about the lack of fossil evidence for the sequential change – As it has clearly taken seriously, but to expect such evidence to turn up this time. But he did not. All we have are well-defined groups of fish, reptiles, etc., and as autonomous individuals, the state of deterioration, claimed a "lack of links – but not the sequence, undead and long term, which is gradual, but major changes organization.
One reason (maybe the only?) Why Darwin's theory was and is so readily accepted and even actively and aggressively advocated by many, despite the absence of direct evidence, is reported by Richard Dawkins, who says – on page 249 of its 1986 publication "The Blind Watchmaker
"In view of Darwin, the point of all the theory of evolution by natural selection was that it was a miracle that it is not the existence of complex adaptations. For what it's worth also is the whole point of this book.
But it will not.
The history goes back thousands of years – but modern science, founded by the greatest truth, as Newton and Galileo, has only been a couple of centuries – and only during the last hundred years we have had the subsequent explosion of technology that characterizes so many modern times.
It is fundamental to modern science theories are based on relevant data, not influenced by the beliefs favorites – and carried out with the hand of light "- the data goes against a theory then the theory. And if we look beyond the normal to the surface in the media or textbooks, it is clear that Darwin's theory is in trouble – For scientific and rational.
